Best hat competition

If you want to get ahead, get a hat! Make sure you wear your best bonnet or boater to the Jubilee Garden Party on 2nd June – there’s a prize for the best men’s and women’s decorated hats.

Buttonhole competition

Scour the garden and the hedgerows for flowers and leaves to make a right royal impression with your outstanding buttonhole arrangement at the Jubilee Garden Party on 2nd June. (Don’t dig up wild flowers: you won’t want a whole dandelion in your buttonhole anyway.)

Children’s fancy dress

Calling all princes and princesses under 16 years old: it’s time to put on your robes, polish your crowns and come to the Jubilee Garden Party for a chance to win our prize for the best fancy dress with a theme of ‘royalty’.

Cupcake competition

If you are a dab hand in the kitchen and fancy showing what you can do with an oh-so-fashionable cup cake, then winning our prize for best decorated cup cake at the Jubilee Garden Party could be, well, the icing on the cake. Bring up to three decorated cakes on a plate for judging.
